A Plus Two student wrote the public examination a day after undergoing Appendectomy Surgery.
A student of a private school at Kinathukadavu here, the girl was admitted with severe abdomen pain to Sree Abirami Hospital here.
R. Senthilkumar, consultant laparoscopic and surgical gastroenterologist, examined the patient at 11 p.m. on Thursday and diagnosed her with Acute Appendectomy.
She was immediately taken for laparoscopic surgery so as to enable her attend last examination on Friday. The surgery went on well and post-surgical care was also administered to enable a speedy recovery.
Following this, she wrote the public examination the next day.
