Special counters opened for filing of I-T returns in Coimbatore I-T dept

The counters were open till 5.45 p.m. The official said that servers had been upgraded and there were no delays to customers while filing the returns.

The Income Tax Department had opened special counters and help desks here to help assessees file IT returns on Thursday. An official said that over 3,000 people are likely to have benefited from the facility. There were six counters with computers and help desks. Assistance was extended to those who had mandatory e-filing too.
