Businesses, especially small and medium-scale ones, are increasingly adopting cloud-based technologies, according to S. Prashanth, executive director of Quadrasystems.net India Private Limited.
He told presspersons here on Tuesday that the company, which is a Microsoft Gold Competency partner, saw 33 per cent year-on-year growth in its cloud business because of increasing adoption by customers.
Sudhir Nayar, Director of Microsoft India, said it has 10,000 partners in the country and all of them offer its cloud-based products – Azure, Office 365 and CRM. The partners have the flexibility to customise these products.
The company is working closely with its partners to enhance their capacity and deliver value to their customers.
According to Mr. Prashanth, customers can use these tools on the mobile devices too. Businesses are able to acquire enterprise class technologies in an affordable and pay-per-use model. A report by Boston Consulting Group said that SMEs that adopted IT created more jobs and drove revenue growth. If more SMEs in the country adopted the latest IT tools, they have the potential to increase their revenue by 56 billion dollars.
