Seva Rathna Awards were given away to 10 youth at the Nehru International Youth Conclave 2015 organised by Nehru Group of Institutions here recently.
According to a release from the institution, these awards were presented to the following youth for contributing to the growth of Coimbatore City to the best of their ability in various fields: Karthick, Tamim, Kishore, Naresh, Kathir, Padmanaban, Ganesh, Gayathree Keerthana, Shankar and Mukil.
In his speech, chief guest V. Ponraj, Chief Scientific Advisor to former President of India A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, said that the conclave was aimed at bringing out the aspirations and dormant talents of youth.
He asked youth to have self-confidence and believe that they can do tasks assigned to them. He also advised them to have social responsibility by starting the change within them, which would in turn cause a change at the national level.

Secretary and CEO of Nehru Group of Institutions P. Krishna Kumar presided over the conclave. Principals of Nehru Arts and Science College B. Anirudhan and Nehru Institute of Engineering and Technology P. Maniarasan and others participated in the conclave.
