Melange, an exhibition-cum-sale of designer clothing, accessories and home linen, will be on at Hotel Residency on September 11 and 12.
Over 30 designers from various parts of the country will display their creations at the sale. In Coimbatore for the first time, Melange was started by three women entrepreneurs from Chennai in 2008.
According to Vandana Palsani, one of the proprietors, Melange will offer unstitched and stitched salwar suits, kurtis, tunics and saris suitable for all budgets, apart from handbags, clutches, gold and diamond jewellery, footwear and home accessories.
Net and georgette saris with zardosi work and real Austrian Swarovski crystals, pearls and other semiprecious stones that come with equally rich blouse piecescan also be found at Melange.
The sale is open from 10.30 am to 8.30 pm.
