Rotary donates ventilator to CMCH

The Rotary Coimbatore Central has donated a sophisticated ventilator to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) of the Coimbatore Medical College Hospital (CMCH).

District Collector Archana Patnaik inaugurated the equipment on Thursday.

At present, the NICU has seven ventilators and 33 beds. Further, the Paediatric Medicine Department has another five ventilators.

Hospital Dean R. Vimala, Deputy Medical Superintendent Isaac Christian Moses, Head of Paediatric Medicine Department K. Neelakandan and Rotary Coimbatore Central president T.V. Vidyasankar took part in the function in the presence of hospital officials.
