Research project on teak

The Institute of Forest Genetics and Tree Breeding (IFGTB) will conduct a meeting regarding the launch of the research project on teak on June 27 at IFGTB Office at 10 a.m. According to a press release, this activity is supported by the Department of Bio-technology, Government of India, at a cost of Rs. 1 crore for a period of three years. The meeting will be chaired by R.S. Prashanth IFS, Director, IFGTB, in the presence of R. Yasodha, Head, Division of Bio Technology, IFGTB.

App launched

Dak Adalat

The Department of Posts will conduct the regional-level Dak Adalat on July 15 at 11 a.m. at the office of the Postmaster General, Western Region, Coimbatore.

According to a press release, the postal customers can sent their complaints to the Assistant Director (Staff), O/o the PMG, Western Region, Coimbatore - 641002 so as to reach the office before July 8 with cover superscribed on top as ‘Dak Adalat Case’. The complaints should contain full details related to money order, VP, Registered, Insured and speed post articles.
