Rainwater harvesting: rallies organised in Coimbatore

The State Government recently launched a drive on RWH with all Government buildings school instructed to put the structures in place or undertake maintenance works where necessary by June.

Thousands of students from Government and private schools here took out rallies across the city on Monday to create awareness about rainwater harvesting (RWH).

The State Government recently launched a drive on RWH with all Government buildings school instructed to put the structures in place or undertake maintenance works where necessary by June. The Department of School Education officials here had recently convened a meeting of Headmasters of all Government schools in which they were directed to accord high priority to this project.
