Rain coats and torch lights for Home Guards in Coimbatore

City Police Commissioner and Commandant of Home Guards A.K. Viswanathan on Thursday handed over 200 rain coats and 100 torch lights to Home Guards.

These had been sponsored by Rotary Club of Coimbatore Central and TSA Charitable Foundation.

This is expected to help the Home Guards carry on with their duties such as traffic regulation, night rounds and bandobust. Rotary Coimbatore Central contributed 200 rain coats for the Home Guards of Coimbatore City. TSA Charitable Foundation sponsored 100 torch lights for the Home Guards.
