Public speaking competition

Kikani Vidhya Mandir and Coimbatore Speakers Forum have jointly organised a public speaking competition titled ‘ Who is the next Shiv Khera?’ at Kikani Vidhya Mandir here on February 6.

The Hindu is the media partner for the event. The competition is open to students of Class VI to IX and is a part of the Coimbatore Vizha.

The topic for the event is “School Education Today and Tomorrow”.

A maximum of three participants from a school can take part in the competition, aimed at identifying the great speakers from the student community.

Cash prizes of Rs. 5,000, Rs. 2,500 and Rs. 1,000 will be given to those who secure the first three places.

The last date for registration is on or before January 31.
