PSG IM alumni honoured

The PSG Institute of Management, as part of its golden jubilee celebrations, honoured its alumni on Saturday.

A release said that at the ‘Grand Finale Nite’ held at the Codissia ‘A’ Hall, the institution honoured a few of its 7,000-strong alumni who had succeeded in their chosen fields.

Book

At the start of the function, L. Gopalakrishnan, managing trustee, PSG Institutions, G.R. Karthikeyan, trustee, PSG Institutions, V. Rajan, former managing trustee, and R. Nandagopal, director, PSG IM, and others released the ‘Stars of PSGIM’ book to honour the alumni, spread across the globe.

The release said that the book was an attempt to bring to light a few outstanding alumni to celebrate their achievement.

The effort would motivate the students.

The institution had categorised the awardees into recipients of ‘Distinguished Alumni Award’, ‘Star Award’, and ‘Rising Star Award’ and they included Indian Administrative Service and Indian Police Service officers, industrialists, singers, directors and trustees of sugar mills, textile industries, academics among others.
