Eyeball Media has organised “Budget Home 2010”, a property fair here.
According to its Managing Director G. Sakthivel, the exhibition has 35 builders and seven financial institutions. Projects in Coimbatore, Chennai, Tirupur and nearby places are exhibited. Villas, apartments, independent houses, and plots are displayed.
The participants have more than 30,000 properties to offer, he says.
Nearly 90 per cent of these were in Coimbatore. However, there were several buyers in Coimbatore who were investing in Chennai and other cities. Even in Coimbatore, the real estate and property market was booming and its potential should be tapped. People were ready to invest in land or houses and they should be able to choose from a variety of projects.
Coimbatore was attracting investors because of its location and it was a major industrial hub in the State. The event aimed at bringing the prospective customers to the major real estate developers in the city.
The exhibition displayed properties in the price range of Rs. 45,000 to Rs. 45 lakh.
Nearly 10,000 footfalls were expected at the three-day event that started here on Friday.
Visitors were expected from Udhagamandalam, Tirupur, Pollachi, Salem and Erode and Kerala.
The show would be open from 9.30 a.m. to 8.30 p.m.
