Properties of fraudulent firms to be auctioned

Properties of two fraudulent firms will be auctioned by revenue department officials on August 30.

According to the Economic Offences Wing (EOW) Police, these properties were attached to the court as the firms did not return the deposit to the investors and had cheated the public

. They will be auctioned by the District Revenue Officer at the grievances meeting hall at the district collectorate at 11 a.m. on that day. The properties included a five storied building built on 3,600 sq.ft. near Hope College bus stop on Avinashi Road, with a base price of Rs. 3.58 crore.

The other property is 2,350 sq.ft land at Irugur with a base price of Rs. 21.15 lakh. Details on these above said properties are displayed at the District Collectorate and the Coimbatore North (for the Hope College property) and Sulur (for the Irugur property) Taluk offices. Those interested can see the properties by approaching respective Taluk offices, before the date of auction.
