The Variety Hall police have started investigation into alleged missing of a jewellery manufacturing unit employee with 111.9 grams of gold ingots.
The police are searching for G. Senthilkumar, of Ramakrishnapuram, an employee at the jewellery manufacturing unit run by K. Arunkumar at Ponnaiahrajapuram.

The CB-CID team on Sunday carried out search for the second consecutive day at the sewage farm near Ukkadam to trace the weapon used by assailants to murder Hindu Munnani spokesperson C. Sasikumar.
The team used heavy capacity motors to clear sewage.
