Isha Foundation recently organised Pongal celebrations. According to a press release, residents at the Isha Yoga Centre joined hands with visitors and villagers to participate in games. Over 500 people participated in the kolam competition. Foundation volunteers decorated cows and cooked pongal in front of the cow shed. There was kootanchoru , where people from villages nearby cooked food which all those present shared.
