The decision comes in the wake of series of thefts. City Police Commissioner A.K. Viswanathan has asked for a detailed study on having surveillance cameras installed in pockets prone to incidents of crime. Deputy Commissioners of Police Pravesh Kumar (Traffic) and K. The two police station limits are B 1 – Big Bazaar and B 8 – Variety Hall Road.

A team would visit the areas and identify streets that required electronic eye and the locations that would be ideal for installing them.
