The city police have alerted all the international airports in the country to nab the five accused in the case wherein a 34-year-old-woman S. Swarnalatha has alleged that her husband V.P. Sivakumar obtained divorce by mutual consent in a family court by making another woman pose as his wife.

City Police Commissioner Amaresh Pujari told The Hindu that based on vital clues a special team had been sent to Bangalore, while another team was checking the credentials of the two persons who posed as lawyers in the court.

He added that the details of the case are being studied and a search is for the whereabouts of the other accused.

Coimbatore Bar Association president N. Nandakumar told The Hindu that the public should verify the lawyer's genuineness and integrity before presenting their case.
