Plea to implement minimum wages for textile workers

The Indian National Textile Workers’ Federation (affiliated to the INTUC) has appealed to the Union Textile Minister, Dayanidhi Maran, to implement the minimum wages for the textile mill workers.

He appealed to the government to fix minimum wages for all categories of workers in the industry and to constitute a wage board.

Foundry Day

The Institute of Indian Foundrymen will celebrate National Foundry Day on August 15 at the COINDIA Auditorium. Awards will be presented to various foundrymen and casting exporters.
