Placement camp

Rathinam College of Arts and Science in association with the Tamil Nadu Skill Development Mission and Coimbatore District Employment Office recently conducted a placement camp. A release from the college said that of the 1,500 candidates who participated in the placement camp, more than 300 found employment.

The Placement Department of the college had conducted the camp by inviting 150 companies. Candidates who had completed class eight, ITI, diploma, graduation and post-graduation had participated. Collector Archana Patnaik inaugurated the camp. K. Purushothaman, Regional Director, NASSCOM, Tamil Nadu and Kerala, was present along with A. Latha, Regional Joint Director, Employment, and A. Jothimani, Deputy Director, District Employment Office. Madan A. Sendhil, Chairman, Rathinam Institutions, presided over the inauguration.
