Arrangements are apace for the tenth annual rose show which would be held at the Government Rose Garden (GRG) here on May 7 and 8. According to the Joint Director of Horticulture in-charge J. Haldorai the show would feature many eye catching items made with roses.
Stating that entries for competitions among people with rose gardens are now being accepted,he said that the last date will be April 25. A fee of Rs. 75 will be collected for each entry.
He said that among the categories of the competitions would be roses in pots, cut roses, rose rangoli and rose garland. A fee of Rs. 50 would be collected for each entry. The last date for the receipt of entries would be May 6.
