Group Captain T.N. Sridhar, an Indian Air Force official, took over as principal of Sainik School, Amaravathinagar, on Thursday.
Commissioned into the Education branch of the Indian Air Force in 1986, Group Captain Sridhar was the principal of Sainik School at Sujanpur Tira in Himachal Pradesh prior to the present posting.
The new principal had completed post-graduation in English from a Chennai college and is an alumnus of Defence Services Staff College at Wellington. He had also served as Joint Director of Education at Air Force Headquarters, a press release said.
