New bus services introduced in Tirupur district

Worn out buses were repaired and introduced to increase the travel comfort of the passengers

Chief Minister Jayalalithaa flagged off two new bus services in Tirupur region of Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation through video conferencing on Wednesday. Official sources said that the new bus services introduced were in Tirupur-Gudalur and Tirupur-Ooty sectors. Worn out buses were repaired and introduced to increase the travel comfort of the passengers.

The 10 sectors were such buses were introduced include Tirupur- Vijayapuram; Tirupur-Cheyur; Tirupur-Erode; Tirupur-Chengapalli; Kangayam-Coimbatore-Pallapatti; Tirupur-Kangayam; Dharapuram- Coimbatore-Salem; Dharapuram-Karur-Pollachi; Udumalpet- Vettakarampatti; and Udumalpet-Thirumoorthy Hills.
