Maruthamalai Temple gets new hall

A new hall was thrown open for public use at the Maruthamalai Temple on Sunday.

A release from ‘Thirukalyana Utsava Kattalaikarar’ S. Nataraja Gounder says that the new Thirukalyana Utsava Mandapam, spread over 4,000 sq.ft. has been dedicated to the presiding deity of the temple, after obtaining permission from the Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Department in March 2012.

Wedding ceremony

The wedding ceremony of the presiding deity was held on Sunday in the new hall.
