Collector Archana Patnaik on Wednesday launched the programme to link Aadhaar with electoral photo identity card and data in the voters’ list. According to a press release, voters with Aadhaar card could visit the Election Commission of India website, send SMS to 51969, send email, dial 1950 or submit copies of Aadhaar and EPIC along with the necessary form on camps to be conducted on April 12 and 26, May 10 and 24.
Objective
The objective of the exercise was to remove bogus details in the electoral rolls, the release added.
