Former President A.P.J. Abdul Kalam will be in Coimbatore on September 6 and 7 to take part in several events.

He will be administering an oath to school students who had been trained by Lead India 2020 Foundation. He will also take part in an interactive session with the students, according to a Lead India 2020 Foundation press note.

The Foundation’s Coimbatore Chapter had trained around 800 school students from four schools on ‘individual development leads to national development.’ The training covered topics such as life skills, goal setting, time management, yoga, self discipline, positive thinking, social development and national development besides human values.

Further, the former President would also be taking part in the tenth anniversary celebrations of Siruthuli on September 6 followed by the centenary celebrations of Suburban Higher Secondary School and convocation at Karpagam University.

He will also be addressing a function at the Tamil College in Perur on September 7.
