Bindu alias Beena (30) from PT Nagar near Thiruvananthapuram was in Coimbatore in search of her parents whom she lost about 27 years ago when she had gone to Kerala with them.

According to Bindu (original name) renamed as Beena by her foster parents, she had been to Kerala with her parents Rajagopalan and Indira from Coimbatore at the age of three and was kidnapped for the sake of jewels on her.

The abductors kept her in confinement for four months and left her wandering for shelter and food.

She was adopted by a couple Tajudeen and Subaida who had five sons and were upset over not having a daughter. Bindu became their daughter.

At the age of 18, she was married to Naushad (35), a daily wage earner and now she has two daughters Nasrin (12) and Mugasna (9).

Having been disturbed frequently about the thoughts of her biological parents, Beena was in the city with her childhood photograph with a request to newspaper offices to publish the same in a bid to help her get back to her biological parents.
