April 19, 2015 12:00 am | Updated 05:36 am IST - COIMBATORE:

Hindu Munnani will hold its State conference in Coimbatore on June 7, said the organisation’s State general secretary Kadeswara Subramanian.

Addressing reporters here on Saturday, he said senior RSS leaders and religious heads would address the meeting that was expected to have a two lakh-strong crowd.

The function would begin with a rally from Singanallur by the cadre.

Mr. Subramanian said that the State government should act against those who had issued threats to RSS leaders. He also called for action against Dravidar Kazhagam leader K. Veeramani for his ‘thaali removing’ programme that had hurt Hindu sentiments.

The organisation’s State Organiser Bakthavathsalam was also present.
