Graduates urged to achieve the best

Vice-Chancellor of Manonmaniam Sundaranar University, Tirunelveli, R.T. Sabapathy Mohan, urged the young graduates to work hard and be committed to whatever they did.

Delivering the graduation day address at PSGR Krishnammal College for Women here on Monday, Mr. Mohan stressed the importance of hard work and developing talent.

He exhorted the candidates to strive to achieve the best in everything.

Referring to the quote “Make Tomorrow a Better Day than Today or Yesterday”, the Vice-Chancellor said that one became rich or poor only by choosing to pursue the right dream.

The Vice-Chancellor further added that being happy and content made a person stand out in a crowd and made him a leader.

Achievements of the passing out graduates bring gratitude to parents and honour to the institution they studied, he said.

Secretary of the college R. Nandini spoke. Principal N. Yeshodha Devi declared the graduation day open and administered the oath to 770 candidates who received the degree certificates.
