The district administration has asked the family card holders under the Public Distribution System to furnish their card details to the LPG distributors on or before September 15.
In a statement issued, the officials said that people having a single cylinder LPG facility were eligible for three litres of kerosene every month at subsidised rate and those with double cylinder facility were not eligible for kerosene.
People who got LPG connections using any other documents for address proof in the absence of family cards and who had subsequently got the cards should get their family cards endorsed by the LPG distributor.
They should also provide the details of the LPG consumer number, name and address and family card details besides their telephone and mobile phone numbers.
Stringent action
Stringent action including cancelling of family cards would be taken against those having two LPG cylinders and also getting kerosene from ration shops.
