Forms fly off shelves on Day One

Distribution of engineering admission forms will continue till May 27

On Day One the Tamil Nadu Government begun distributing the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission 2015 forms, engineering aspirants flocked the four centres in and around the city to be the early birds.

According to sources, right from 10 a.m. Wednesday, the four centres – the Government women’s and men’s polytechnic colleges, the Government College of Technology and the Regional Centre of the Anna University – saw the aspirants turning up in good numbers to buy the application form, which cost Rs. 500 each for general category students and Rs. 250 for those from the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe.

The Government would continue distributing the forms till May 27.

The centre at the Government Women’s Polytechnic College saw disbursement of 1,500 forms.

The Government Men’s Polytechnic College centre saw disbursement of nearly 1,000 forms, the Anna University Regional Centre saw disbursement of 670 forms and the Government College of Technology 1,600 forms.
