Fine Future case: Valuation of property begins

The Economic Offences Wing of the Coimbatore Rural Police in association with the Revenue Department has begun assessing the immovable properties of the accused in the Fine Future fraud case.

The promoters of the now-defunct Fine Futures are accused of duping investors of their investments. The money involved in the case is said to be several crores. Sources said that the police and Revenue staff are in the process of estimating the value of land, its extent.

As for buildings, they are studying the materials used, the age of the building and its market value.
