Essay contest on student violence

Nandini Voice for the Deprived, a Chennai-based non-Governmental Organisation, will conduct an essay contest on "increase in violence amongst students in Tamil Nadu.

According to a press release issued here, the objective is to analyse the factors leading to the increase in violence among the student community.

The suggestions of the students would be forwarded to the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister.

All school and college students in the State can take part. The essay must not exceed 1,500 words and can be written in either Tamil or English.

The last date for submission is March 30. Five prizes would be awarded.

The essays can be emailed to nsvenkatchennai@gmail.com or mailed to the following address by post: Nandini Voice for the Deprived, M 60/1, 4th Cross Street, Besant Nagar, Chennai - 600 090.
