Ensure availability of power during Plus Two results: District Collector

Collector M. Karunagaran has requested Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Corporation (Tangedco) to ensure there are no power cuts between 9 a.m. and 11.30 a.m. on Thursday (May 9) in view of the Plus Two results.

As the results are expected to be released online this time, the Collector has made the request to ensure students can obtain marks without hassles.

In Coimbatore district, a total of 36,538 students from 308 schools have taken the Plus Two Board examinations this year, besides 1,850 private candidates.

According to Chief Education Officer A. Gnanagowri, students can get the results from their schools to which the results were expected to be dispatched before 10 a.m.

Further in a departure from earlier years, the results would not be made available in private websites/blogs. Students can view the results online this year only from the four following websites:

www.tnresults.nic.in, www.dge1.tn.nic.in, www.dge2.tn.nic.in and www.dge3.tn.nic.in.

Also, she informed that a counter with ten terminals would be established at the Coimbatore Collectorate, with the assistance from National Informatics Centre (NIC), where students can view their results free of charge.
