Electrical products seized

The District Industries' Centre has seized electrical products worth Rs.64,642 from shops in Sulur during a recent crackdown on products without the mandatory ISI mark. The Centre said in a release that legal action would be taken against these shops.

General Manager of the Centre S. Asokan said action would be taken against those who stored or sold domestic electrical products that did not have ISI mark.
