Electoral roll revision to begin soon

District Collector P. Umanath has announced that enumerators will soon begin revision of electoral rolls for including names of those who had attained the age of 18 as on January 1, 2010.

Electorate should check the accuracy of particulars such as name, age and address and endorse the same. They should handover two photographs to enumerators.

The Collector said change in details of photo Voter identity cards would be possible only after electoral rolls are updated.

The enumerators would be carrying with them Form 6 for inclusion of rolls, Form 7 for deletion of names, Form 8 for change of details such as name, age and address and Form 8 A for change of Assembly constituency.
