The KCT Business School will conduct the Doosra Premier League (DPL) at the Kumaraguru College of Technology grounds this weekend.

Played on the lines of IPL cricket, the tournament features a tough battle between corporate companies and business schools. It will be indeed interesting to watch the corporate employees and the college students sharing the same pitch.

Twenty-four teams, which include Accenture, Ford, Canara Bank, Amrita Institute of Management, D.J. Academy and Kongu Engineering College, have confirmed participation for the two-day event, which will be inaugurated by Shankar Vanavarayar, Joint Correspondent, Kumaraguru College of Technology, on February 9 at 8 a.m.

The final is slated the next day and will be played from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. under lights. National volleyball coach G.E. Sridharan, an Arjuna and Dronacharya awardee, will give away the prizes.

Faculty co-ordinators A. Priya Dharshini (9952355179) and K. Prabhu (9047350540) can be contacted for registration and details.
