: Polling booth officials will carry out the exercise to link entries in the electoral rolls with Aadhaar card till April 6, said a release from the district administration. They would carry out a door-to-door exercise for the purpose and in the process also link voters’ mobile phone numbers and e-mail ids.
The release asked voters to keep ready their Aadhaar cards, electoral photo identity cards (EPIC) or tax payer identification number along with photocopies for the visiting officials to verify the documents.
Alternatively, voters may also visitwww.nvsp.into carryout the exercise. Or, they may also send SMS in the following format: ECILINKEPIC numberAadhaar number to 51969. They may also send email totnvoteraadhar@gmail.comfor the purpose.
Additionally, they could also visit the common service centres functioning in the district to complete the process or dial 1950 for the purpose.
