‘Do not be confined to ambition of getting jobs alone'

“Students should not confine to the narrow ambition of getting jobs alone. But they must achieve the objective of becoming successful entrepreneurs,” said Moloy K Bannerjee, Director of Oakdene (India), Software Services Pvt. Ltd.

Talking at a function in which Gnanamani Educational Institutions, Pachal near here and i2P signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the career development of students on the college premises on Saturday, he said that opportunity in this country was multiplied and one had strong will power to achieve.

He also insisted on networking for becoming successful entrepreneurs as per the vision of late leader Rajiv Gandhi and highlighted the importance of alumni in an institution where a number of students meet and share their ambitions which could pave way for networking.

P. Gopalakrishnan, Director, i2P Company, explained about the various avenues of this system and how existing lapses in the industry-institute interaction for the career development of the students. He said that the purpose of this MoU was to make the students capable of doing any mission and enhance their aptitudes.

He also added that Indian market was big for which one needed skilled professionals. “To get into the industry the students have to enhance their Techno managerial skills apart from their technical knowledge,” he pointed out.

The MoU with i2P and Gnanamani Educational Institutions was signed by the Institutions' Chairman T. Arangannal, Chairperson P. Malaleena and P. Gopalakrishnan of i2P. Mr. Arangannal, who presided, said the MoU would provide a platform for the students.

Chief Executive Officer K. Vivekanandan said that i2P would give placement guidance connecting the student community even after ten years of their completion of study. Administrative Officer P. Premkumar, Anand Srinivasan, Director, Bytech India Pvt., J. Durga Rao, Chief Technology Officer, i2P and K.Srinivas, General Manager Sales, i2P offered felicitations.
