DGP to visit Coimbatore today

Director General of Police Letika Saran , who arrived in Coimbatore last night, will be receiving petitions and hearing grievances of the police personnel and officers in the region at Armed Reserve Grounds on Avanashi Road from 6.30 a.m. on Thursday. Later, she is scheduled to inaugurate the newly constructed building of the B-1 Big Bazaar Police Station before attending an on shore security co-ordination meeting convened by the Oil and Natural Gas Commission at Hotel Residency. The DGP is also likely to visit the World Classical Tamil Conference venue and review the arrangements. Later, in the evening, Ms. Saran is also scheduled to inaugurate the new police quarters constructed at Avanashi.
