The number of connections which was expected to touch the 600 million mark only in 2012 crossed the target in 2009 itself.

To a query, he said the E-Auctions for 3G spectrum are still in progress and the amount has already touched Rs. 50,000 crore and is expected to reach Rs. 60,000 crore.
