Suspected extremist Hyder Ali was on Tuesday granted conditional bail in one of the cases against him.
The Special Court for Coimbatore Serial Bomb Blasts Cases granted him the bail in the case of possession of explosives and criminal conspiracy. He was asked to surrender his passport and make himself present at a local police station twice every day.
However, as another case of attempt to murder was proceeding against him in the District Sessions Court, he was taken back to the Coimbatore Central Prison.
