College staff held for cyber crime

The Cyber Crime sleuths of the Coimbatore City Police have arrested Flemming on charges of stealing ATM card of a woman and withdrawing Rs. 10,000 from the account.

City Police Commissioner C. Sylendra Babu said that Flemming stole handbag of Gracy at an examination centre in the city. The accused then reportedly got hold of the Personal Identification Number of the ATM card from the mobile phone and withdrew Rs. 10,000 by covering his face with a cap at the ATM kiosk. The SIM card was removed from the mobile phone as well. The sleuths led by Inspector K. Balamurugan traced the accused who is employed as a placement officer in a private college near Sulur.
