Collector M. Karunakaran on Monday distributed mark sheets and employment registration cards to students.

As per the government order on registering Plus Two and Class X students with the employment exchange, 467 schools in the district initiated efforts to register online their students. The students were asked to furnish the relevant documents for the purpose. The Collector distributed the Class X mark sheets along with the employment registration certificates to the students at the Presentation Convent Girls' Higher Secondary School.

He said that students who had not registered, could do so between June 20 and July 4 and the latter date would be considered as the registration date. He asked such students to make use of the opportunity.

Deputy Director, Employment, Latha, Chief Education Officer N. Anandhi and other officers were present on the occasion.
