Business India Exhibitions has organised the Inside Outside Mega Show in Coimbatore for the 11th year.

The exhibition at Smt. Padmavathi Ammal Cultural Centre till July 22 has 45 stalls and nearly 20 of these are participants from other parts of the country.


From imported goods to those made by the local craftsmen, the exhibition has a wide range of products for interior and exterior use at home.

Those on display include furniture, building materials, solar water heaters, office furniture, modern kitchen sinks, granites, hand carved doors and glass designs.

There are several new ranges such as imported modular kitchen from Germany. Metal art works, shoe stands, hand made interior decorations, and accessories are also exhibited.

Architect Rajkumar Davidar, former chairman of Institute of Interior Designers, Coimbatore Chapter, inaugurated the event on Thursday.

According to a release from the organisers, special awards will be given for best display. The exhibition is open for business visitors from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on July 20 and 21 and for general visitors from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m.


On Sunday it will be open for all visitors from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

The Hindu is the print partner for the event.

A programme – Celebration of Architecture – was organised on Thursday. Architect Hiren Patel from Ahmedabad spoke on “Happy, Positive, and Accountable Architecture.”
