Chinmaya Vidyalaya plans to create world records

Chinmaya Vidyalaya Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Vadavalli, has planned to attempt 29 world records as part of its 34th annual year and Independence Day celebrations.

In a release, the school said that of these, 12 would be team records and 17 individual records. All students in the school would participate in the attempt. The school planned to create the following records – most people wearing Swami Chinmayananda mask at a venue, most people bobbing ball simultaneously, most people chanting simultaneously for two hours at a venue, most people performing classical dance for two hours at a venue, longest finger painting by a team, largest hopping race, most people dressed as Lord Krishna, most people painting national flag simultaneously at a venue, most people holding oil lamp simultaneously at a venue, and a few more.

The individual records would include largest bottle cap mosaic by a minor, longest painting by a minor, largest national flag made by fingerprints by a minor, largest spoon mosaic by a minor, longest paper board mosaic by a minor and a few more.

The school had approached four global world record companies to judge and adjudicate the 29 world record attempts and provide certificates.

The world record event would be led by the school Chairman Swamini Vimalananda and Correspondent P. Ramakrishnan.
