Chennai student wins first prize in photography contest

R. Sweja of Sir Sivaswamy Kalalaya Senior Secondary School, Chennai, B. Kousalya Devi of GRG Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Coimbatore and C. Kevin Immanuel of Bridgeway International School, Coimbatore, won the first, second and third prizes at the photography competition conducted by Savithri Photo House and The Hindu.

Summer camp

The competition was held as part of a five-day photography summer camp organised between May 10 and 15. S. Sabarinathan, Director, Coimbatore Kendra, Doordarshan, gave away the prizes.

Consolation prizes

G.G. Kaarunya Dhevi, Kendriya Vidayalaya, and C. Saritha Lakshmi, GD Matriculation Higher Secondary School, bagged consolation prizes.
