Cancer and eye camps held

Terapanth Mahila Mandal organised a cancer awareness and testing camp on International Women's Day at Veerakeralam. Representatives from Lavanya Hopsital spoke to the villagers on cancer, its causes and cure.

As many as 50 women were tested for breast cancer through the pap smear test.

Terapanth Yuvak Parishad in collaboration with Aravind Eye Hospital conducted a free eye check up camp at the Terapanth Jain Bhavan.
