Burglary in locked house in city

Miscreants broke into the house of a businessman Balasubramanian (49) of Avarampalayam on Wednesday night and decamped with jewellery including two pairs of diamond ear studs, two pairs of gold studs, one sovereign chain, three digital cameras and two cellular phones.

The inmates of the house were out of station, when the burglars gained entry into the house.

Police officials inspected the scene of the crime.

Forensic experts were pressed into service.

Special teams have been formed by the police in order to apprehend the accused who committed the burglary.
