A TNSTC official said that a total of 3.9 lakh students had availed of bus pass in the region during the previous year.

But even after nearly a week, the TNSTC had received only close to 350 applications from Coimbatore and Tirupur.

The official said that the schools need to take forms- Annexure 1 and 2- from the TNSTC Head Office on Mettuppalayam Road.

Annexure 1 will have space for five students and a passport size photograph of 3.5 cm x 4.5 cm will have to be affixed next to the details such as name, standard, address, journey from and destination point.

Annexure II is to just consolidate the total number of applicants from each institution. Students need not sign on the photographs.

Head of the institution should sign on each sheet of annexure I and II. Annexure II should be converted into a CD and handed over to the TNSTC Head Office.
