Revenue Minister K.A. Sengottaiyan inaugurated Kovai Dental Hospital's mobile dental clinic in Coimbatore on Sunday.
Agriculture Minister S. Damodaran inaugurated a medical camp the Hospital had organised for police personnel and their families at the PRS Grounds.
A release from orthodontists A. Aanandkumar and Santhi Anandkumar said that they could easily create awareness on orgal hygiene using the mobile dental clinic as it would easily serve people who had difficulties in visiting dental clinics.
The doctors said that they would continue their free service to government school students and extend the same to corporates and boarding schools at a nominal cost. The van would serve around 5,000 persons a month.
They also said that at the inauguration, they had treated over 50 police personnel and their families.
A.K. Viswanathan, Commissioner of Police, Coimbatore City, senior police officers and others were present at the inauguration.
